Camberville Home Folk Concert
Nora Meier is a diehard music fan, a frequent moviegoer, a daughter of two English majors, an Oregonian at heart, a verbal processor, a big reader, extremely stubborn, and always writing. What Spectrum Culture calls her “Old World sense of wear and wonder” finds balance in a fresh realism born from a deep attention to the details of everyday living. Meier’s songwriting is an invitation to take a clear-eyed look at ourselves and the world around us with a healthy dose of humor and warmth.
Cooper Smithson is a multi-instrumentalist folk singer based in the Boston area, originally from the Columbia suburb of Lexington, South Carolina. Since relocating to Boston, his folk roots have come to the forefront. He has refined his songwriting to cultivate a sound that echoes the folk revival of the 1960s, paired with lyrics that reveal a deeply introspective mindset.
Hammers Sitting Still
▼
Hammers Sitting Still is Kozbi and Ryan Cliff’s alternative folk duo. Fresh in Boston after marrying and moving up from the Southeast (Knoxville/Atlanta) in 2025, their music is born from a love for poetry, weirdo folk, pretty singing, and diy-ness. They recorded their debut demo album “To Continue” at home during the winter after arriving in New England with two guitars, each other’s voices, and a drum programmer.
$15 per person.
